Appreciate that man, it's been a fun road so far.
Regarding alignments, that makes sense. It's truly unfortunate that the cooperate chains have wiped out most of the mom pop shops. I'll be trying my hand at the diy route and see how that goes. If I get foiled, I'll have to try your method out. If that fails, I'll have to pull out thee ol case of beer trick.

Adding positive caster in my situation will help the tires clear the cab mount/firewall. The easy and partially wrong way to think about it is that positive caster moves the wheel forward. It's a balancing act like everything else and not going to solve all my problems but I'll take a little bit of everything to clear these tires. I'd dig up a few videos, it's easier to grasp what it's doing if you can see it but here's a picture with some words on it.

Got it, so you need some positive caster to help clear cab. I find it weird alignment shops won't give the paying customer what he want. A lil positive caster, won't hurt right?

Sorry Stig, dude needs to check his facts.
No, a lot of the frachise ones don't want the liability or have the talent to set it otherwise. If they stick to what the Hunter computer says they are within manufacturer suggestions. Collect their 80$ and send you packing.

Places like the one I go to aren't scared of lifted trucks and will set it to keep the tires round and wearing correctly.

Yeah, here yeah on that. Figured it was gonna be due to liability issues. We've got a few mom and pops shop around that would probably give the paying customer what he wanted here on the islands. I'll just stay away from the Goodyears and Midas if and when I do get around to 35s
