Imho, no. Just get the standard one. Anti rotation trigger pins are not a necessity. Neither are ambi safeties. You could easily swap one in later if you want one. I also wouldn't pay extra for a grip I wasn't sure I liked. They are inexpensive and easy to swap. So that leaves the trigger. Do some searching for reviews and see if it's worth it. The new bcm pnt trigger is getting good reviews and is only $60. Good luck and have fun.

Anyone here have a Rebel AR? Saw that they might be offering up a entry level platform and it spiked my interest.

I don't own one, and did not stay at a Holiday Inn express last night, but I read a lot. Their website shows their guns ranging from $1500 - $2700. At that price that would put them in some good company, so fwiw, as much as I read I'm surprised to not have heard of them. There are plenty of highly regarded, well known brands at that price point I'd choose first, or build my own. But to stay closer to your post, what is the price point of this new entry level rifle? If I was looking entry level, and for the sake of argument (since you didn't put a $ figure to entry level) we'll say the price point would be $1000 or less, I'd be looking at; http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=LE6940 or this; http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=LE6920-OEM2 and finish it to my (your) liking. For that money, imho, nothing's going to beat a Colt. I won't knock Bushmaster, Del Ton etc, plenty of people have and like them, but if it's ever going to be more than a tin can killer, you'll never wonder/regret spending just a little more on the colt.

right on thanks.. still researching everything. I really want a complete DD upper or BCM upper. From my research it seems like a lot of complete lowers are pretty similar as long as they are milspec(PSA, spike, aero). Looking to save money on a more inexpensive complete lower and just upgrade the trigger at a later date. The PSA blem complete lower is looking like a great deal

I know the PSA pictogram lowers are made by Aero...I don't know who makes the rest of them, but I'd guess it's Aero as well

Get a good deal on the lower, buy a nice upper and upgrade the trigger, grip and stock

I think Rock River also made PSA for a short time as well. Aero has had made Spikes as well.

PSA Lower parts kits: L.W. Schneider (military contracted) http://www.lwschneider.com/ I also hear their AR sights are the shit....

Anchor Harvey Aluminum Forging used by Colt/Spikes/DPMS etc and I bet AERO as well....

For anyone interested, if you recall the PSA PTAC line, it was considered their cheaper, budget line...but got a pretty good rap for being junk

PSA now carries their "freedom" line which appears to basically be rebranded version of PTAC

I was talking to my LGS guy a 2 weeks back and they were at shot and the PSA Rep was saying they are trying to streamline their parts suppliers....

They need to fix plenty of other stuff before worrying about how many parts suppliers they have...but that could help
