I bought the Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini D2S Stage III Kit and want to get new housings for the headlights. Would it be more practical to buy a set already black http://www.topgearautosport.com/par...eMCoQK_-2CyLTe10uJEcnPiXgWwuAHOHmsBoCftzw_wcB

or should I buy my own and paint them?

Also, I know this may sound bad but... All the headlights classify as either: sport package or no sport package. Does TRD/off road fall into sport, or is it only the fully classified "sport Package" only?

    =)

Painting them is not that bad so no need to get them already black. I'd go with depo brand or OEM as they seem to hold up better and I've heard less reports about lens clear peeling.

You want the non-sport ones. The sports are smoked or a black chrome/gray metallic bezel.

Is the difference between Sport and non-sport simply cosmetic, or will one not fit on my truck?

It is cosmetic. See the headlight upgrade thread and scroll down to see the headlight comparison, though it is for a 2012+ and using 'Pro' lights. But shows the black chrome vs standard chrome. I personally like OEM for many quality reasons. If there is an OEM black chrome sport version for the 08, I'd get that and call it good and not deal with breaking the seals and painting.

Yep, what he said above. Purely cosmetic. Except you have to break the seals to put in retros so his last point doesnt matter. Like I said, if you want them black get the non-sport and paint. If you like the gray chrome metallic look get the sports and don't paint. Either way you'll have to open them to retro.
