Just installed OME lift with 886 coils. I knew the ride was going to be stiffer which is OK. However, it feels really harsh on speed bumps and the like. It sounds like the front suspension comes down really hard. Is that normal? 2014 crew cab.

And are you riding without a bumper, sliders, and skids?

 

I saw that thread but don't think it's a "clank". Just really rough on the extension (term?). Just have some sliders but will be putting hidden winch bumper soon.

 

Probably too stiff. You should've gotten 885

 

You can still have that issue with the 885s.

 

After the bumper and winch it'll be a better ride.

 

Yeah but he'll be adding hidden winch mount and which which should help. IIRC @tex said 886 were too stuff even with his bumper and winch

If they're still too stiff after a bumper and winch, you need to fatten up.

 

Or switch to lighter springs..
