OK so my truck is a 15 TRD sport with toytec coils up front and 2" aal in the rear. I'm running nitto g2's 285 70 17. Stock UCA's. Wheels are -12 offset. Since being lifted I've had a rub I can't figure out. At least that what we think it is. I've had it at Toyota 5 times now over 6 months and they can't fine anything rubbing. However, sometimes when in a turn it grabs hard and will almost rip the wheel from my hand. It slows the truck way down as well. We thought it was the VSC, well it's happening now with Trac off. So, I went on to cutting. I had the cab mount chopped as well as the front plastics. It does is in random turns. There's no telling when it's going to happen. Anywhere from 20 to 55 mph I've had it happens. I even coated the frame and all the suspension with powder trying to see where it was rubbing. Zero luck. It's always clean and no signs of all of a rub. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah we checked those too. From what we see there's no signs at all they're hitting them. It's a very violent and sudden rub to say the least.

If it were ABS. Would the light flash? I've never seen any lights when it does it.

Yeah that's what it feels like. The brakes are being held almost. Bad thing is it happens often to my truck. Several times a day, then nothing for a day or so, then it starts back.

No joke. I've read and read on forums and I agree. You're the first to have a similar issue. I do have a turn within a mile of my house that I can replicate it. I'll try this tomorrow for sure.

Mine used to do this on a certain corner. It was the abs braking my one front tire.... I did a VSC yaw sensor reset. Hasn't done it since. You've changed the rake of your car from the factory... it's messing the yaw sensor up.

Yeah they've reset it twice now. Actually did it again tonight. Haven't had a chance to try it yet.

A week ago I also had the dealer do an alignment and they balanced the tires. They said they also recalibrated the yaw sensor then. I had the issue happen within days.

So just an update. Got the truck back after Toyota had it for 3 days. Literally tested it for 300 miles. Even bought a gopro and got some great video of the suspension. No rubs anywhere. They are saying it's the vsc. However it will do it occasionally with the trac off. I though this disabled it completely. Maybe I'm wrong. They are saying I can't completely disable it.
