    Had some help figuring out what to send and knew you might be able to get some use out of it! Hope you enjoy it man, like I said earlier it'll take some work getting it installed as you'll need a few odds and ends from the hardware store, but I'm sure you'll manage it just fine from looking at your build thread. :D

    Merry late Christmas Levi :)

    @Bennett707 When everybody receives a gift you should publicize the names of those who failed to send a gift. Maybe the mods can put a sticky in the BST section with untrustworthy members. Just for other members' sake so they don't pull the same shenanigans

    I don't believe in public bashing, I fail to see how it is progressive. The members that did not follow through will not be participating in future years events. I understand your point with the B/S/T, because it can be argued that this is a sign of ones character. But it is not a B/S/T transaction, all members entered with the known risk unfortunately, thankfully we have members that are entrusted to stand in place of those whom had a situation in life take precedence.

    To me, it comes down to something like this;

    If TW found out XYZ wasn't going to be able to send a gift due to a tragedy, most people wouldn't want for them to send a gift anyways. They'd send them extra gifts instead! That's how TW works.

    If XYZ didn't tell anybody and was bashed publicly, but same situation, he'd be labeled mud.

    I definitely see where you're coming from. I guess my main concern is differentiating between the members that legitimately had a tragedy/financial issues/valid reason to not send a gift and the ones that "disappeared" with no trace and took advantage of their gifter's generosity. Just want to weed out the bad apples.

    Maybe, if it's not too much trouble, have the organizers contact the ones who didn't send a gift and see what's up? Even a quick response from them letting you know their circumstances if it's not too personal, would suffice for me atleast, because I will be the first to admit that life does throw curveballs. If any are still posting on the forums or have recent activity, those folks should be the first to ask. I know it's asking a lot given everything the elves have done for this, but let it be known that we are all grateful for y'all taking the time out of your schedules to make it happen, given how successful it was. :thumbsup:

    I've had a long day, don't mean to rant on and on.... :)

    There is no legitimate reason to disappear. You have something come up, you NEED to contact the organizers and let them know what has come up. You do not just disappear!!!!!

    In todays connected world, unless you are in the grave, ICU, or prison, there is no reason you couldn't drop a line and fill someone in during the entire TWSS process if you were going to run into a hardship.

    I wish j could say I would be. Since Friday I've been to 8 different cities for work. I'm in Denver now and I'm not sure where we're going next.
