    If you lean up, you'll drop some weight but look better.. Then you can just add muscle back to get back to present weight if you still want etc.

    I'm currently approaching 170 but more so stay around 165. I workout 5 days a week for 40min to an hour. I don't get into the diet stuff too much. I just eat and eat a lot. And protein shakes obv. Been on this routine going on 5 years. Before that I was 140 and a weenie with a dadbod (was only 22 sans any kids to have that excuse).
    Believe me, it doesn't take much to get results and gains you want. Just commit to 30-45min 4-5 days a week and you will see the changes that will get you hooked like the rest of us in no time.

    (Excuse me while I ghey it up with a selfie...but it's for research purposes)

    :wave:Hello meatheads. I've been lifting for right at 6 years. Also been doing the gym owner/operator thing with my brother for 3 1/2 years. 5'10" 195lbs. I call it a power belly. Ha ha. 400 squat, 440 dead. Hit a 65x10 bench today. Lmao! Great news considering I tore my pec (partial)on Nov 27. I haven't been able to do much of anything upper body related. Anyone have any tips for rehabbing a pec?

    if im 6', currently 196 at about or a bit under 13%bf.... my lbm is 172...and i can get to 184? so at 12% bf i can add on 12lbs before im maxed out?
    so if for instance i want about 9% bf as a goal...naturally the most i can weigh at 6' is like 202 lbs according to the BB.com lbm calculator

    May I suggest lighter weight exercises with high range of motion. You are gonna wanna get the blood flowing to the injured area to help with healing. I'm thinking cable flies and cable crossovers. Again very light at first and progressively working your way back up depending on the extent of your tear. I've got partial tears on both rotator cuffs, ucl tear right elbow, and a partial left pec tear, as well as posteriorly dislocating my left shoulder. Learned alot along the way. Wish I knew then what I know now
