Just picked up the Overseers' Guardian, and then modded it up with a suppressor, scope etc.

Bought. Level 38 or so I think on this 5th playthough now, just ran through Vault 81 to pick up Curie as a companion. On my way out, I recalled a bunch o folks talkin' about said gun, so I swung by the shop and bought it.

By the gods. I thought sneak was overpowered before

 

I always assumed (I purchased it from Vault 81), that if it was available for sale, I could have waited and stole it maybe?

 

Has anybody else encountered the Preston Garvey impersonator ? Lol

Yeah. Saw him walking around and was like "how the hell did you get out?!"

I was wandering around Cambridge and along comes a Minuteman , I go up to talk to him and the name comes up "Preston Garvey" . I start a dialogue with him and he says he's Preston but he's not . One of my dialogue choices are " I know Preston Garvey and you're not him " , I choose that option , he stares at me for a second and says " oh shit " and starts running away , I chase after him thinking he must be a synth , when my pip dot goes on him , " Talk to Preston Garvey Impersonstor " comes up but I can't talk to him . I end up shooting him thinking he must be a synth but when I check his gear there's no Synth Component

New one to me, I'll keep an eye out though, I'm wandering all over hell and back this time through

 

He's impersonating Preston and asking the Commonwealth for donations. He sounds and looks nothing like Preston. Synths are identical. I've come across two guys completely identical named Art fighting each other.
