    for any new vehicle you get a temp dealer tag. Thats is from ANY state. Just add it to your insurance before you drive off.

    Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'm a little torn on whether to ship or fly out though. It will definitely be cheaper to fly but I will have to take a couple of days off of work. Could be a fun road trip and I would see the car before I buy.

    However, paying to have it shipped just seems much simpler. I can't make up my mind. At any rate I am still happy i don't have to purchase from my local assclown dealer. The guy is so shady.

    Bought in north Ohio and shipped to California. Personal connection got me a good deal, so do not bank on it, but mine was $900 cash. A-Plus Auto Shippers based out of Phoenix, Arizona. I like buying out of state. Helps avoid the MSRP plus market adjustment BS going on in So Cal.

    Yes, I posted about my experience with Dean after I bought my truck. Very easy to deal with and like you said no BS! Congrats and the new truck...I'm glad everything worked out for you! :cheers:
