Pretty sure that dyno is posted the link in my Sig. As well as on URD's website.

I poked around in there a good bit but didn't see a graph of their headers paired with the MAF calibration unit. Great thread though, thanks for putting that together.

Dog friendly, with dog snot on inside windows, with of course a/c! Mag 16 inch wheels from a Mazda.
I had gotten charts from ICE & Dough Thorley. Each one showed their header better than the other one. This reminds me of Hyundai/Kia/Ford C Max lying of better MPG than what it really is. Now it's VW with their emission testing, they'll do anything to sell you their product.

Last bit of page 7 (if you have 40 posts per page) and then on page 8 as well. However, page 8 is URD's dyno graph on their DynoJet, in SAE correction. Done with the proper standard, but I do not believe that I have come across an individual with just the SPEC-U headers. I'll have to double check.

Quoting Neb, "Loving the low end torque increase with these! Its hard to see on the graphs 'cause they don't go that low, but you definitely feel it. Exhaust note is awesome too. Sorry about the video quality, but you can still hear it. Overall very very satisfied with my purchase.

    For the runs:
Same dyno, 5 days apart, same gas (92octane)
My truck is almost completely stock; just TRD S/C and a borla muffler. So I'm sure there is plenty of restriction in the intake and y-pipe (not for long!). The ONLY difference here is the headers. Best of 3x runs for both days.

Sorry for the thread revival, im basically building the "blue on black" 2014 4wd "race truck", i say it like that because its more for fun than $10s of thousands serious...in the early stages and on a budget and with 13k miles i think instead of thousands in armor and long travel ill stick with mid travel and try to make the truck one of a kind all around
ill get what i can fabbed and put the rest towards performance with as much reliability as possible.

I did a search and this is what i found, i was just searching exhaust etc via google and came back to the forums, been awhile.
i may just have someone fab the whole exhaust 3" including y pipe for $400 including _______ muffler...what do you guys think?
Is that a fair price? Maybe without muff?

Later get the headers? They could always chop and weld the pipes to adapt the long headers...i want a free breathing engine, unfortunatly it cost alot for name brand shit and sensors are a pain in the ass because of emissions laws
    (thanks cali!)

Can i delete all cats (nevermind the legality) and not have issues aside a check engine light?

Sorry again, alot of questions to search, and i dont have 3 hours to waste, seems like you guys know your stuff fairly well though..
    I have designed/paid for full/ catback exhaust on :
    01 Eclipse
    83 toyota celica
    92 4runner
    2011 kia forte

    Thanks much!

I have a 4 cylinder auto 05 Basic Tacoma. My engine never exceeded above 2,500 rpm even going down the highway at 75 mph. Had a cherry bomb vortex muffler installed. Did notice with with the the Dough Thorley Headers additional torque, but had an issue with a loud resonance every time I accelerated. Ended up removing the vortex muffler and going back to a stock muffler. Doing a custom install can get expensive, if you have someone put stuff on that's never done a truck like the one you have. Then there's an issue with backpressure some is good, but a lot of it is bad. Here is a good discussion on the subject. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1203932

I've been thinking about the URDs since they came out, but they are never in stock. Gadget wants you to order and put the money down to get on the next build list, but I just can't make myself do it. Would make a nice addition to the Maf Cali, URD intake and intake manifold spacer that are on there now, although you are not interested in the URD intake.

Yeah, I got myself into a "situation" one time where I'd have hydrolocked for sure if I'd had a cold air intake. I'm always a bit paranoid about it as a result. I'd probably run a snorkle if the damn thing wasn't so hokey.

I'd like to see a dyno graph on a NA engine. An independent one.

    ^this

And basically i want as free flowing system as possible, the ecu will adjust fuel/air ratios for me, so except headers, what is the best way to go with the 4.0 for a less restrictive system... noise=good---- rasp=bad

I have $800 to spend and stock non trd exhaust.

Anyone do any cat delete without issues?
    Dont live in Cali so...

Did you notice any change in fuel economy after installing them? I know that some people don't really check but I keep a close eye on mine.

Hard to tell from your avatar, but it looks like you have a fairly generous lift with larger tires? How high and what size tires? Stock gearing on a TRD Sport?
