I'm not sure how well it works but if I had a street legal rig with 40s and it wasn't a dd I'd try it or if I had multiple sets of tires

they worked on my 33's that were on my XJ, my problem was I was doing 5 tire rotation, and 1 would sit for 5k, which sometimes was 8-10 months? I had no problems with any of them till after 20k, now that coulda been the beads stickin (which aint supposed to happen) with adding air, prolly added water with the air??

But can your typical tire shop balance machine balance anything any bigger than a 35?

I have heard of people throwing some desiccant bags (small ones) in their tire with the beads to combat this issue.

Most of my Jeep friends with 33s or 35s swear it's a better balance than traditional balancing (over multiple generations of tires).

I love Toyota alloys. best lip contour for holding a bead of any alloy wheel I've seen, and they are really really strong.

I bedline my wheels because they get messed up so often on rocks.

yep. touch up the fronts as needed, and recoat then entire wheel at each tire rotation.

not any more. when I replaced those (33s) with 35s, I cut two inches off of the fenders. plenty of room now.

I was watching this eBay auction for a 2001 CR500(last year of production by Honda). It ended today and sold for $6100! I have the same bike sitting in the back of my garage, mine looks to be a little nicer than this one. Might be time to list it. Last 2 pics are of my bike.

Mine is a clean low hour bike. It's all original except for the exhaust. It still has the original tires, chain & sprockets and handlebars.

I had 3 CR500's at one time. I kept this one because 2001 is the last year of production by Honda. My other 2 were 1994's. I love big bore 2 strokes!

Does it run coolant? My neighbor just picked up a nice bike that was all swapped out with racing parts. Damn thing takes coolant instead of just being oil cooled. I forget what it is, its a bike that can be either a Suzuki or Kawasaki? Because they were the same company during this time and both bikes use the same parts with the same part numbers only difference is the plastics and who holds the Vin #.
