I know that lol. There was some single cab I remember seeing on the 1st post of the old mid travel thread. I don't think he had build though, idk. I can't find it.

I think I remember that truck, from what I remember he doesn't post much anymore. Been a while since I browsed that thread, the term mid travel is vague to say the least, makes it hard to get solid info on anything.

@gray223 it was a pretty bad ass little truck. It was a manual trans flat red reg cab 5 lug with a 3in spindle lift on 31s with front glass and prerunner style bumpers front and rear.

I swapped in bucket seats and made a custom center console.

Even with a stock 2rz and stock gears in the diff it was a ton of fun, it was a good think i had a lifetime alignment from firestone though because i knocked the alignment out every couple months..

Too bad he's deleted pretty much all of his photos, and TTORA is so dead it isn't even worth trying to reach out to him.

At least the info is still archived there, but yah its definitely gotten pretty bloated with garbage. Pirate is great for ideas and fabrication tips but searching it is a nightmare and a lot of the popular users are dicks so I rarely post unless I have to know something right that second. Too bad he wasn't on Expedition Portal!

They are much more comfortable than my stock seats. My OEMs had 310,000km on them, so they were pretty worn out.

The brackets sit much lower to the floor than the OEM ones, so I gained about an inch of headroom which was nice. The seat belt is a pain as the attachment on the new seats is fixed. Thus, when you slide your seat back and forth, the seat belt buckle doesn't slide with the seat, it remains in a fixed position. Kind of a bummer.

Seats are nice and comfortable. Overall back height is similar to the OEM with the headrests at the lowest position. Lots of room between the console and the seats except the seat buckle is a bit in the way requiring you to squeeze the console to squeeze between the two seat buckles, if that makes sense.

The rail slider handle protrudes pretty past the seat at the most back setting. Not much I can do about that.

The side bolsters don't present any issues with me entering or existing the vehicle due to the overall seat height being lower than the OEM setup. I can simply step over the seat bolster from a standing position outside my truck to get in (I'm 6'5"). Entering is actually easier now than it was with the OEM seats.

The finish is nice, I opted for the driver lumbar support and both seats are heated. I'll hookup the heated seat controls in a few weeks, but they were installed nicely with some obvious attention paid to the access of the seat wiring from underneath. No hack jobs here.

The seats have some "give" to them which I surmise is the suspension design. Very similar to a JK Jeep seat in that there's a bit of "give" when you push back in the seat. It's not a super solid position, there is some flex.

The side bolsters are stiff, but I can tell that they are starting to break in a bit already. A friend of mine has the same setup, sans cloth insert, and his are very comfy now that he's had them for a while.

The black seats are also a nice contrast for the interior of the truck. Goes nicely with the black dash and black wheel skin cover. The interior is obviously a bit dimmer now with the black seats versus the blue/gray, but it looks quite sharp.

Awesome! Thanks for all the info! Really looking forward to getting some now! Weird that the seatbelt buckle stays in one place though lol! Well I guess I won't have much of a problem since I am only 5' 10" lol!
