    You could probably still find an obscure dealer who had the full kit, pay an exorbitant price, drive cross-country, wait a week for the install, drive home, and STILL pay less than that.

    @Torspd So is it a valid enterprise? Have a smaller turbo to wake up the top end a bit when the SC starts falling off?

    Larger turbo. It was an elaborate custom rear mount setup.

    Not likely. If you guys noticed when this was announced end-of-sale in June there were people paying $8,500 for the kit alone without installation. I contacted a dealer and the quoted price for the install was around $7,000. So at $6,195 that's actually not much worse than the supercharger was at the end of its life. For you guys that got it back in 2011, good for, but that's not the going price for this anymore.

    $6195 is also with BD Tuner. Im sure theyll offer just an SC without the tuner at some point. Especially if sales aren't great initially because of price point with the tuner.

    We have an F-350 SRW at work (an 08 I think) with lift blocks from the factory--first time I had noticed something like that. It also has bottom overloads and top helper springs. Guess Ford did not want that thing to squat!

    Any time I drive it I feel like I'm in a big rig in comparison to my Tacoma.
