Damn. I could of used a laugh.

 

Tickets are cheap if you get them the day of the game. I paid $27 per ticket. I'm paying $12.50 per beer.

 

$27 for low bowl seats ?

 

Id believe it. People here brag up about getting coyotes tickets when they fly south at the door for less than a couple of beers.

Yup $27 per ticket. I go to the arena's website the day of and about 2 hours before game time they drop the prices drastically. It also depends on the team. Thursday the Blackfucks are coming into town and those tickets will not drop in price much if at all.

We were row G from the glass. We saw the Flyers and was able to get the tickets for $18 a few rows higher. We bought them 1hr before game time.

The most I've ever paid for low bowl seats was the Penguins and those tickets were still under $100 each ticket and we bought them in advance. That was Row Q from the glass.

They are talking about moving the Cyotes to Tempe which would get more attention but ticket prices will go way up. I like the fact I can catch 3-4 games a month and pay less than $100 for all the games if I play my cards right. But it is an hour drive to the arena.

 

20 games for Wideman

 

Yikes. I think it's like a lot of media articles were saying. If the league didn't give 10+ games for this then it would appear like they don't have the backs of their officials... which isn't good for the league as a whole.

 

Mother fucker!!! 27 bucks barely gets you into the parking lot for an Oilers game.

 

My understanding is that 10 would have been the minimum, if a penalty had been called, but as this fell under supplementary discipline, there was more discretion regarding the ruling.

 

Absolutely. My point though was that they couldn't give less than 10 games or it could of started an issue with their officials.

More than likely.
I guess it came down to whether there was intent to injure, rule 40.2 (intent to injure, 20 games) or rule 40.3 (no intent to injure, 10 games).

 

20 games is a safe number for the NHL cause when it goes to appeal and the arbitrator says make it 10 they can say " don't blame us , we gave him a stiff sentence "

20 is fair, it was a dick move.

 

My girlfriends old man won a seasons ticket holder contest last week. 20 of us are going to see fridays game in the Teams private box.
