I mean no one really needs blind spot monitors, but it's definitely a nice feature. I'm curious about their sensitivity. Being a motorcycle rider, I definitely think most people would benefit from this feature, just curious if it would detect motorcycles very well.

Are you sure you live in GA? We haven't had Ad-Valorem tax on new vehicles since 2012. Now it's only sales tax on new vehicles like other states.

As a newbie I guess this is a good as place as any in TocomaWorld to jump in.

    After spending allot of years without a Toyota I finally bit the bullet and from the comfort of my easy chair the following;

    Tocoma SR5 - Access Cab - V6 - 4Wheel Dive - Six Speed Automatic
Blazing Blue Pearl - Cement Gray interior
    Towing Package
    All Weather Mats
SR5 Appearance Pkg. With Entune Prem/Park

Over the years I've dealt with allot of different manufacture car dealers and I must say Toyota has to be the biggest PIA to deal with! For one they haven't really caught on that were in the age of the internet. They just didn't grasp the concept that I didn't want to spend endless hours at their dealership or play the endless games that most of the salespeople play. Finally after going through four dealers the fifth one that's 30 some miles from my home replied via email, astonishing! I know these third generation trucks are hot but most of the sales people I eventually had to met or talk with over the phone must think this truck is made of gold because they were all asking full blown MSRP for the truck and options. No way I'm paying that kind of money for any manufacture vehicle and so finally the last guy who dealt with me mostly via email and few phone calls offered me the truck as I wanted just about invoice at $30,785. Most likely will trade in my old beater Nissan Frontier for $3,300 (anyone want to give me 4K? LOL!) and with tax, title, tag, and the rip off handling fee were looking at about $28,900 out the door. I suppose it was a good deal but I'll leave up to forum users to make that judgement. The down side of ordering it in Blaze Blue with the upgraded entune nav package is that I might have to wait till the first part of April before I see the salesman said. Which is okay by me because my old beater runs, I got exactly what I wanted, and it gives me time to find and buy some goodies for the new Taco!

I created a great spreadsheet that allows you to copy and paste options to see invoice and MSRP prices. it also allows you to see price and monthly payment data for everything you add or take off.

I created it for myself but I'll pass it down.

Great for people looking to purchase.

    Here is it: attached

Just ordered a SR5 and was told that I could still add the 2 in 1 LED daytime running lights/ fog lights since it has not gotten to the port yet. I was not able to find an option code or cost figures in the OP list of options. Does anyone know where I could find that information?

Can't find that in any option codes so unless someone else can I'm thinking it might be a dealer add on. Oh unless what I've read on the net the Tocoma is made in Texas, no boat needed. :D

Thanks for your reply. I am in Florida and went to the Toyota web site and configured an SR5. The configurator took me to the southeast Toyota site which is where I found the 2 in 1 LED running light/ fog light option for $399 retail. They obviously do not give the invoice price. If there is anyone in the southeast Toyota area who knows what the invoice price is I would be grateful.

that is a SET unique add-on.

that is why it doesn't show up on the Toyota master list of options. its just like that bloated usb cable option they have where they charge you $90+ for 3 usb cables.

All Toyota vehicles sold in Florida have to go through the SET port, even if they arrive by rail. This is how they justify their extortion fees. The only exceptions are those vehicles dealer traded from outside the SET area, but then you pay the transportation costs to get it. Is there any chance you might be able to get their invoice prices on that option? Thanks.

you can prob find it thru kbb or Edmunds but since its not regulated by Toyota its a guess on how each region within SET will charge for the same item and how each dealer will mark it up.

@skyking3 I have access to SET Dealer Daily. It looks like the cost to you would be $399.00. The Invoice cost is $328. Sorry for the small image, SET acts up on IE sometimes.

Thanks for the links. While I do think that I could install them myself, I would rather the dealer install them for the full 3 year warranty. The dealer already promised me that I would only have to pay invoice price on the lights since I had already negotiated the price of the truck.

The fog lights that are standard on the SR5 are not LEDs. Eventually, I would like all of the lights to be LEDs. I already have the 7 interior and 6 of the exterior lights just waiting to be installed after I take delivery. I will install those myself.

Thanks to all who responded to my post.
