Why not take pics? Is it any different from a guy taking a before and after pic after losing 200 lbs? No. People take pics to look at their progression and some people even take pics just to show others that they're fit, but who cares? Most people who do it are probably a little self-centered, but who cares?

As far as steroids go, I agree. Kids get hyped up trying to look like pro's and it's impossible. Sure, steroids have a place in bodybuilding, but most people abuse them or don't know what they're doing. There is a safe way to take them.

Music...who the fuck cares? If I have headphones at my disposal and can listen to something that pushes me, I'm gonna do it. Sure, I can eat all my meals without silverware, but forks and knives sure do make the shit easier! Use your resources

    Pre-workouts....see above statement on music

Since you've posted in here, who said they didn't workout their legs b/c I missed it? As far as I know, every regular in this thread does legs. Hell, I do them twice a week.

And you're right about being a dick in life being a bad trait, but guess what? Coming into a gym/fitness thread and starting off by airing your grievances with gym shit is kind of being a dick. "Hey gym-goers, I have a lot of problems!" Guess what? We don't give a fuck.

Last thing: you said, "I want to be strong, healthy, fit, and look good just like all of you." My definition of looking good and yours is probably vastly different, but I'm not gonna knock you for it. If I could hit a button right now that'd make me 220 lbs and 4% bodyfat, I'd push it. Does that make me a bad person or shallow or self-centered? I don't think it does, but even if it does, I don't care. I go to the gym to get strong and look good with my clothes off. I do so because I want to be the best in the room when I walk in...be it the best physique, the smartest, whatever. If I'm not trying to be the best at what I do, there's no damn point in doing it.

I understand. But saying fuck cares about everything doesn't help your argument. It just looks like you only care about yourself and you say fuck cares about everything else. Not saying that's you but yeah. Why would you not care about being self centered, this is what I was getting at. We have became a i don't give a shit generation and I am going to do and say whatever i want. Have we every thought that you know, maybe, be self centered is, well a bad thing?

I love this thread. Sack dropping some bombs in here today.

If I'm seen as being self-centered, I don't really care. I'm not going to the gym for everyone else (although the attention from the females doesn't hurt). I go for me. I want to look good for me. Sure, being self centered isn't a great trait. But, guess what: I stopped caring about what everyone thought about me after my freshman year of high school. If someone thinks I'm self centered because I go to the gym and try to look/be better, cool. They don't have to associate with me.

No not really. It's not really a "diet". It's just a different way of eating. A lot of people have pretty dam good results. Of course like everything else might not work for everybody.
