What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I may PC them or something. I prefer blue over red

 

I'm not sure I would PC running gear. PC is just a thin coating of hopes and wishes that tends to flake off a bit easily. But a bit of high temp matte paint would probably last well with some high temp clear coat too.

 

I thought the toyota FT-1 concept was officialy the next supra???

 

Yeah I think getting caliper paint from Vatozone and go that route

 

Question???..if you get your frame replaced from the recall and have aftermarket bumper or sliders burned on. What's your options? Will the dealer cut them off or reinstall them? Or is that the owners responsibility?

Well I know a guy who is having his frame replaced and has sliders welded on and says his front bumper is welded to the frame....I have not seen the truck with my own eyes though.

 

I highly doubt Toyota will put them back on for you, but if you ask nicely they'll probably liberate them from the frame.

You are responsible for cutting them off if you want them cut off right. My dealer said they could cut them off for me but I told them I'd take care of it, I know doing it myself means I could save what I need. I also had the same issue with my front crossmember we just fabbed up as well. Cut that right off in a way that we can hopefully save it and save a bunch of work.
