Not sure if anyone has seen this, but I'm trying to see who is interested, and in what part of the valley you can search in?

I'm thinking of getting a small group, and checking out the east valley, Canyon lake area tomorrow. If you guys are going off roading this weekend, post up what area you are going to and if you found anything.

I'm sure you guys know already. This is no longer a missing persons. This is now a runaway. In my opinion they are still too young to be out there on their own..

For future incidents, a group on Facebook "Arizona 4x4 Club Search and Rescue" works with authorities in certain missing persons cases when they are believed to be in the Arizona, or even Colorado wilderness.

Interesting. I looked at their requirements and you are required to have your truck inspected. The requirements are pretty strict. 33's minimum, locked front & rear, 8k+ winch, flashing front/rear ambers and so on. I wouldn't pass that. I have all the recovery equipment though. Sorry to get off topic. Hope the kids get found.

To be an "official search leader," I have assisted on a few searchs such as the one in buckeye where granddad left his granddaughter in the desert with a loaded gun. Anyways someone from the group will have maps and coordinate a grid search. I didnt have a cb or race radio at the time but still helped.
