Scion was only going to work if it gave the us more japan only small cars. Instead, it gave us cars that some marketing team thought "the kids" wanted. The first xb was cool, but they lost their way fast.

The tc was pretty good for what it was and obviously the FRS is a favorite for many, however one good selling model didn't keep the company afloat.
    Oh well.

I like the FRS but, won't miss Scion especially if TM keeps the 86.

Too a large degree, IMO, it's Toyotas own fault for neglecting the brand. Tho I'm not sure that cultuvating Scion wouldn't have taken sales from Toyota. As far as capturing young buyers & moving them to Toyota & Lexus as they age Toyota failed. Why rebrand other manufacture products then try to move them to TM? Of course TM just purchased the remaining share of Daihatsu (the part TM didn't already own). Toyota may use its newly acquired small car guru to fill any gap left by Scion. The car buyers sure have changed too.
