Has anyone compared SOS and Pelfreybilt skids. I have a 1/4" aluminum IFS skid from SOS and need a mid skid, but he isn't making the 1/4" Mid skid right now. Any idea how close the Pelfreybilt mid skid would line up? I know I would have to drill some holes, which isn't a big deal, but I was curious if the bends would reasonably line up. Do the contours of the truck somewhat force this to happen?

I have a ATO IFS 1/4 mated to a Pelfeybilt middle/Transmission 3/16, the bends lined up fine but I did have to drill holes, so while I was at it I drilled 5 holes instead of just 2 or 3.

Thanks...I may take you up on this if I don't find what I'm after. I'll let you know.

This is good info. I imagine that my SOS would line up adequately then. Thanks

I can tell you that on my pelfreybilt stuff, where the ifs meets the mid skid, the clearance between the nuts and bolts and the frame cross member is tight so keep that in mind when your retrofitting the stuff together (drilling holes etc....)
