My work truck is a 5.0 V8 and my previous truck before my Tacomas was a V8 as well.

Not saying I'd trade either for my Tacoma as a personal vehicle, because in no way would I, but the sound of a V8 is a bit intoxicating.

...although a LSx in a Taco would make my knees weak.

That engine needs to find its way into my truck. ..... And then be supercharged. Then i can give up on everything else in the world. Ever. No need to continue on with ultimate greatness achieved.

He is in 'Park' so technically out of gear and not moving. An engine equipped with a SC doesn't have to be in gear to make boost, he is just rev-ing the engine from a neutral position. :)

Huh. I've never noticed or even thought about it till now, but then again I haven't installed my boost gauge yet either.

To most people and the average joe, the 'Park' gear-mode pertains to an actual gear lock, mostly from the phrase to "put it in park." However, the 'Park' mode is actually an engine neutral, out-of-gear position with mechanical drivetrain lock or stop.

I'm sure they will still trd flash the ecu. They are flashing my ecu on Saturday for me, and I won't even be installing the blower on till I get back to the shop from the reflash

This was a project, but I made this console gauge pod for it.

    I would buy the house.

I am older and have my house paid for. It gives me a little freedom to mod at will.

Are you launching in 4wd? It isn't obvious in the video, but I'm pretty sure I get significantly more wheel spin launching in 2wd prior to my pulley install.
