I started to because that is how you do it on a Ford but because I was already a little (a lot) aggravated I stopped and said what if I break something. Thank you.

Wow, nice work! Katzkin looks so nice
Questions (cuz I was going to have the dealer do it)
    1.where did you buy?
    2.how much?
    3.how hard was the install?
    4.what tools were needed?

I've been planning to do this myself when I get the truck but was going to have it professionally installed. Might save a bit of money doing it myself but I was concerned about either screwing it up or having it not look that great.

    Thanks in advance

I tried tape and pliers as well, then I got a small pick (like a dental pick) with a slight hook. Stuck it up where the bulb plugs in and pulled down. Bulbs flew straight out. Very easy after this way. Well worth the effort. Best mod so far. Good luck.

Engine noise. I found a solution. Stevie Ray Vaughn cranked wide open. Unfortunately these 3.5 engines are noisy. They sound like my 2000 Prerunner 4 banger. My 4 liter 2nd gen was very quiet relative to my 2016. I love my truck but do not like the noisy engine. After 31 days it is growing on me. I just think it comes down to tight engine clearances and thinner wall blocks for weight reduction and fuel economy. Overall I still think my TRD is the most solid Toyota I have owned yet. It rides like my 2014 V8 F150 did but not even close in the quietness category. I wish Toyota put more emphasis on keeping the noise out of my cabin. I personally have no concerns with the engine noise.

Installed Opt7 LED low beams. Working well so far. Time will tell. Look at the color contrast compared to the halogen fog light.

Some careless person did something to my tacoma and put a 1cm wide semi deep scratch on my driverside door. I thought it was just a scratch and buffed most of it out last night. Upon closer inspection this morning there is a vertical dent perpendicular to the scratch when looking at the door at an angle confirming it was done by a car door. Its small but annoying because I'm very careful when i open my doors so i dont hit the other person's car and try to park in a way to minimize the chance of someone dinging up my doors but it still happened. Ive had my honda for 8 years and my doors are still dent free. Frustrated at the fact i dont know who did it. Contemplating about going to a professional dent removal person.

I hate that feeling man, being super careful, parking straight or even parking farther away. Someone always ends up F*ucking it up. Good luck bud

That sucks man ! My taco got hit too, but I was inside my truck when it happened . Good thing too bc the girl who hit my truck was uninsured, had no drivers license, and the car she was driving wasn't even hers ! It could have easily been a hit and run if I wasn't in my truck . It's all taken care of now tho and had my truck fixed at a body shop. Anyways I know the feeling man . Good luck getting it fixed . Also , park as far away as possible from other vehicles . That's the lesson I learned .
