Well I really like the look of my westin bullbar, plus it goes nicely with the side steps. It was easy to put on. Only took me 45 min plus I didn't have to remove any parts. So far I havent had any complaints with westin, but then I haven't owned my bull bar that long.
If you decided to go with westin I'd make sure to call around for prices. I had one place in Wichita Ks (close to where I live) want 450 for it. I ended up paying 350 (that includes shipping).

FireMedic, thanks for the advice-- I think bull bar is the way I want to go, and I agree with the sidesteps. My new truck is all black and I think putting some chrome on would look really good. Thanks again.

I have a black truck too and i thought about doing the same thing. all black accessories and maybe even powder coating the wheels or getting black ones.... hey, it looked good in Back to The Future :)

oooooh, the peer pressure. sounds like the black taco owners are ganging up on my chrome mission. i wouldn't do too much, for what it's worth. and, truth be told, i'm considering all my options-- after all, i just bought my new truck saturday! accessories i envision for the next year: bull bar or grille guard, running boards (tube style), and a tool box for the back.

speaking of a box, here's a thought for you all: i'm thinking about getting a box that incorporates an extra gas tank. with a little labor, it can effectively (almost) double fuel capacity. with gas going out of control, and living close to state borders, it very well might be worth it to me. see some cheap gas across state lines-- stock up. anyway, i also like the wheel-well boxes...anyone have one?

i'll be soon getting out there to heat gun all the badging to take it off, except for the trd sport sticker....gotta keep others in check...haha, i'm trying to find a black billet 5pc set for the from end, i wanna tint the front windows to match the rear, might get the black eyelids for the front lights, smoked rear lights and 3rd brake light, the black grille guard, and was thinking about black rims too...and powder coating wouldnt be bad either.

i wonder how a powder coated exhaust tip would hold up? i've got the blingy magnaflow chrome tip...i just wonder how it'd hold up to the heat.

i've already got the all black step bars and the black AVS rain guards...a bleak start to all that i wanna do...

I ALWAYS wanted a toyota 4x4 after that!!! That was the coolest looking truck to me back then.

If I can find an 85+ Toyota 4x4 in the next few years, I will be getting it and getting Diesel Toyz to put a 2LTE Toyota Turbo Diesel motor in it! (ok, now I am just dreaming out while typing :D)

Probably because with those tires that truck never would have hit the necessary 88mph for the flux capacitor to work. Plus the delorian (sp) had steel body panels which were necessary to conduct.... time waves or particles or something like that. Come on man get with the program. looks like you need to brush up on you're quantum physics, specifically time travel.
