You know something NO I am not a Mulcair guy, but since you bring it up I will say that I found his level of intelligence and commitment 100X better then Trudeau 2.0. He is much less arrogant then the hair piece to. Socialist is worse then Liberal, not by much however.

I swear everyone around here has a power engineering diploma. Not being mean or malicious, but it seems to be a very common diploma. Maybe that's the problem too. Too many people with the same accreditation because +$100/barrel oil pushed the job demand past sustainable.

I hold a B Sc in Agricultural Studies with a minor in Genetics. I also hold several professional designations related to agriculture and reclamation. I do not work in reclamation, just to clarify, but most of the people I graduated with do.

 

Nope I voted PC, and again not because I liked Harper, only preferred the platform for the country as a whole. Anyone who can't see the depths of the hole JT is driving us into well..... I suspect perhaps you can review and reflect in less then 4 years and counting.

 

My brother worked in Redfords office. Just to clarify. I'd say my family is anything but Liberal. I'd say I'm a moderate, but compared to you I can see why you find me "very liberal."

 

That's only part of what I have, I have a full degree as a Process Engineer. As a major there are less then 250 in Western Canada professionally registered. Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering is far more common. As far as farming and agriculture goes well you have me there, my experience is only that of a farm kid, my family had a grain farm of 4800 acreas in the NW up until 1994.

 

I'm willing to go on record with this post to suggest the Tories won't hold power again for at least another term after this current one .

5 years is a long time. History would say your likely right though.

 

Guess it depends how many votes he buys to cover up the massive debt created and the increase in country wide divide. We shall see..

I also hold a few Diplomas. I didn't get into that because it rarely matters for me.

My family farmed until my dads generation. He ended up in the sales industry as an Ag chemical rep until he became the top seller in his company. Then he left that company and became the managing partner of a very small independent Ag retail. When he left he sold it off for tens of millions more than it was worth when he took it over.

I started off working for that retail and then, once I had my degree, I went off on my own with another company. Just recently I accepted a technical lead position with another leading edge Ag chemical company for a large area of Alberta. Ag is in my blood.

If you knew the people who started that party... they belong on the axe like the Quebec Seperatists. BTW those people are still around in that party.

 

No one seems to really grasp that the job losses are substantially to do with the price of oil , neither Energy East nor Trans Mountain have even finished their original review proceedings yet so can't be approved or disapproved by government , and even if approved , completion of either is years away , which won't bring back anybody's job in the forseeable future without an increase in global oil prices which is outside of our government's control
