LOL, that's a good one. You're saying that there hasn't been any other dominant player since Ricky Williams or Ron Dane that has been deserving of the Heisman? That's just plain ludicrous.

Also, since NCAA divisions have become alot more competitive in recent years and football programs are the main revenue generators for the majority of the colleges around the nation three loses is a winning record. The PAC10 and the SEC have some great teams with three loses.

not downing your statement, but how can a receiver show his true talent without a just as talented QB? dont get me wrong shipley is the shitley but he needs a smart QB like McCoy to help him shine

dex - you could take Ricky or Ron and put them on almost any decent team in the nation and they would still get their yards and dominate. they were both that good. I don't know of any of the others since then that you can say that about.

FYI- there has only been one defensive player to win and he was a WR / CB... Woodson.

I would like to see Gerhart win it. But I think it will be McCoy who has better numbers than Teblow.

That's not going back very far when you mention Williams and Dayne but Herschel Walker and Barry Sanders which I might add had only one true full time college season comes to mind if you want the name of a dominating back that won the Heisman trophy that could easily be an impact on pretty much any squad. Barry Sanders even proved that he could be on a crappy team and dominate. The team was the Detroit Lions.

I think McCoy is going to get it unless Ingram does a good job against Florida. Then Ingram will.

CJ Spiller not being invited to New York is BS. He was the most valuable player to his team in college football this year and has the stats to hang with everybody else.

Yes, Gerhart had the better numbers but that damn East Coast bias screwed him over.

X2, and being on a worst team and having more rushing yards and TD's should be worth a hell of a lot more.

Congrats to Mark Ingram. He had a great season, and the Heisman was well deserved. Also, I'm glad cry-baby Tebow did not get it. I'm sure we'll see plenty out of Ingram once he's in the League. Tebow on the other hand; I think we've seen the best of him.

Colt got screwed period. Just look at his numbers. His all time win record will probably never be broken.
