    yea we use some for our project and once they go together you pretty much need a vice and heavy duty pliers to get them apart. id think a couple of those in the pipe and its solid!

    id say shoot them an email, tell em your application and sometimes they have other stock besides whats on the website. or they'll suggest things that you haven't thought of yet. but yea I think that 130lb pull would be sufficient. also need to look at the distance between the magnet and the surface that itll be attracted to. they lose strength exponentially in relation to distance. (I don't know how thick the plastic is for the snorkels. it may be negligible.)

    they have a calculator on that site for calculating the distance vs. pull... we buy from that site soooo I may have gotten bored before and played with it.
