I've been looking at getting a HiLift Jack, but I am wondering which one? Should I get:
    1) the 48in
    2) the 60in

It seems as if the 48in is more of a "standard" size for people to get? I understand that a 60in will give you more "leg room to work with", but is it really all that common to really have that much more play? Sorry if the question is a bit confusing or doesn't make sense? I don't know how else to ask the question? Finally, I know some will say that you never know when you need it so get the longer jack, but that is basically what I am trying to ask... is a 48in, for the most part, more than adequate??? I want to go with the 60in, but really don't want to "over do it" if I really don't need to at the same time? Thank you for taking the time people.

    Happy Wheel'n

Btw, I put in my vacation request for the dates of the Anza trip and STILL no response from the bosses:mad:o_O Time to start kick'n some teeth in to get a more rapid response:frusty:

It depends on how much travel your suspension has. I plan on upgrading to a 60" but I got a great deal on the 48" at the time so I might just end up with two

What's that called... "cheezing" or something like that!!! Thank you for the reply. Are you going to the Anza trip at the end of this month?

Btw, my get-up-and-go-bucket is pretty much stock and I really don't plan on going any further with suspension, may be a bit more upgraded eventually, but no "crazy wheel'n". That's just me. I don't really want to do anything harder than a light to medium trail ride. I'll leave the experienced guys to the more crazy obstacles!!! I'd rather watch someone else crash and burn, cuss, kick, and scream than be a part of the actual action itself ;):spy:

    Thank you 4WALKER

    Happy Wheel'n

Yup!! Only reason I have the 48'' is cause I got it for free. I use most of the jack just trying to get the rear end up on flat ground. I would go 60'' for sure!

This is me about a year ago. According to the doctors 2 more weeks without treatment and I was dead. Grew up Thinkin I was bullet proof, washed my hands with chemicals, smoked and drank and my body decided to throw a bout of leukemia with a bonus tumor on my head. 9 months later plus about $1.5 million in treatment I'm all good quit smokin and no longer wash my hands with MEK but I've graduated to top shelf liquors as my drink of choice over beer these days. Can't give up everything. Lol Now I do old man things like picking out glasses so I can see..just yesterday.

Well shit now I feel like an asshole lol... I'm waiting on my 12 years as a mechanic to catch up with me... Bones ache but no ailments... So your saying that tasting leaks to see if it's coolant and using brakeleen to wash up is a bad idea lol

Been turning wrenches for 30 years myself. Docs did a lot of questioning of my past practices. Most of the time they would ask "Why would you do that". I'd just laugh and tell them I was bullet proof and my hands had to get clean with the least amount of effort.

Sorry to hear that about your Dad. Cancer is a motherfucker. I was just one of the lucky ones. The amount of suffering I saw in other people getting treated was heartbreaking.
