Frame update. No frame swap until a month from now. Supposed to be next week. Anyway waited for over a year, so another month is fine. I did rush and get new UCAs, intermediate steering shaft and KO2s. Patiently waiting....

Awesome. Looks like a cool place to live.

I'll have to start checking up on TW more often again and keep an eye out for any of these meets.

My truck is going into Rorich on Monday. Although technically I've been on the list for a year plus, I just haven't been in a rush to get it done. You can get a truck but you have to demonstrate a need, i.e. your a contractor or need it for work or tow regularly or something like that. You might have a better shot since you'll be in said rental for so many months. I should only be out 2 or 3 days. Supposedly you can continue to drive your truck but you prob won't be able to get it inspected and Toyota will make you sign a waiver releasing their liability if you drive on it like that.

Rorich is a decent place though and would be where I recommend you go

So we going to plan another meet up or what? I know it's super last minute but if anyone is free today I'm thinking about taking my bike out if anyone wants to meet up for some food somewhere.

X2 for Rohrich. I've never had a problem there. I bought my truck there, and they few times I've had things done there, no issues.

Just throwing this here for the locals. I have 2 sets of wheels and tires with a new set of wheels on the way.
If anyone is looking for a spare/extra set of wheels let me know.
Willing to part with either set pricing very reasonable.
Steel set plasti dipped black on the truck.
Off road alum stock silver with some wear and chipped paint. Not at the point of posting for sale just yet.
But figured if someone wanted just the wheels and was local I could prepare.
I have to pull the toms out of the alum wheels so if Anyone just wants the off road wheels let me know and I'll leave the tires off.

Just had the tires installed at Tower Tire in Blawnox today and now I need to fabricate a tire carrier because the larger tire doesn't fit under the bed. I could probably make it fit but i really didnt like how the factory spare came out with indentations in the sidewalls from the frames cross members. Let's see pictures of where and how ya'll store your larger spare tire. If there's a thread, which there probably is can someone post some link's. Thanks. And yes I know I need to kick Toyota in the ass to put new leafsprings on this thing, it only has 23k miles on it and I don't wheel it or haul or tow anything heavy so why has it been sagging this bad for over the last year with such little weight in the bed???? I'll be installing the firestone airbag setup i bought from Corey but not until I after I go to the dealer to try and get the springs warranties out.

Looks real good! Makes me wish I had put duratracs on again but they were too much for me. As far as your spare and the indentations - As you know I don't have a larger spare but still had that issue. I have this stuff called rockshield that's put on pipelines before they bury it to prevent damage from back-fill and I zip tied some to all the cross members and it has helped prevent that. I have plenty so if you want to try that I'll gladly give you some if the tire will even fit under there.

Is that the Gunmetal or Bronze? It's hard to tell from the picture. What tires are you going with?

Bronze. And eventually I want to put 265/75/16 duratracs on. Had them on my last truck and loved them. Just got laid off so not trying to spend that much now. Prob going to have them throw my old ones on for now.

Thanks. Can't wait to get the stock suspension gone. Over 160,000 miles on it. Should feel like a new truck. The biggest improvement will be the intermediate steering shaft. Kinda scary when it is bad.

Had the wheels for a little just got tires put on yesterday.

Scs sr8's in dark bronze (16's)
    265 75 16 duratracs
Note: (stock suspension) required flap removal and a little plastic trimming.
