When I swapped out over to the bronze TRD beadlocks I ended up just letting the dealership deal with. Told them straight out to avoid scratching it. Unmount/mount, rebalance, put in sensors, all that good stuff. I was watching from the side line when they were doing the service haha.

You're right, they are bead lock "style" rims. They do not need to be removed when the tires are changed, and the machines they use at the dealer wont damage them either. Im thinking about powder coating mine all black, even the locking rings.

I've read it's better to leave them on since they'll have to balance them anyway.

That's what I figured, just wanted to know from others experiences. Thanks

Wheelers Progressive AAL, Firestone RideRite airbags.
    That's correct.

And a person that knows how to mount and dismount tires properly shouldn't have any parts touch the wheel, the tire machine if there to put the pressure on the tire to pop it over the rim.

I'm gonna be throwing them on mine this spring.....it shouldn't really hamper it much at all......maybe just a tad stiffer

I decided to add a Toyota skid plate today. Just for the simple reason, I just like the look of it.20160203_194004835_iOS.jpg

If I knew you were looking into it, I woulda turned you onto BPfabricating. MATT123 I believe is the vendor. His is 10g steel and has "TRD" stamped into it. Mine is black and I painted the TRD emblem in with a silver paint pen.

A trd logo stamped in the skid plate sure would have looked nice!

Don't think they have TRD stamped skid plates any longer, plain or BPF stamped only.

Also have the TRD accessory skid plate. Thinking about painting it with Rustoleum bed liner, used it on the SOS rock slider and it still holding pretty well. What you guys think?

I'm no Baja or TRD pro but I hit my TRD skid plate with some Bedliner and it looks a lot better. Plus if it ever gets scratched you just apply more Bedliner lol

Just had the tires installed today and now I need to fabricate a tire carrier because the larger tire doesn't fit under the bed. Let's see pictures of where and how ya'll store your larger spare tire. If there's a thread, which there probably is can someone post some link's. Thanks. And yes I know I need to kick Toyota in the ass to put new leafsprings on this thing, it only has 23k miles on it and I don't wheel it or haul or tow anything heavy so why has it been sagging this bad for over the last year with such little weight in the bed????

I bought them from Discount Tire Direct for $173 a tire with free shipping. I also bought the replacement warranty for $21 a tire.
