    Hey all,
First post. I am interested in leveling and getting a better ride on a 2014 4x4 Access cab. Truck is bare bones at the moment, except for an exhaust reroute. I saw the Headstrong kit, Coil/Bilstein 5100 lift Kit, http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/headstrong-kits-tacoma-05-6-lug.html . If I go with the 8400 coils and set the front shocks to 0, how much lift could I expect from this kit? How much lift would the AAL's add?

    Thanks,
    mms

Howdy, I did the HS Billy Kit, with 885 springs up front, and single AAL out back. I am also an AC, 4x4. I got about 2-5/8" - 2-3/4" up front. The 884 springs may get you 2-1/4" - 2-1/2" I think

Marie, Thanks for the info, that was really helpful!
JimboAnz, Did you go with the LR UCA too? How is the ride, on and off road?

    Thanks!

I kind of went the same route. I went with the 887's with 5100's and a rear ICON Progressive AAL with rear ICON 2.0 shocks and Camburg UCA's Marie was amazing to deal with and the prices and shipping to boot.

We have our 3-leaf aal coming out in about another week or so. We are going to be offering that as an option for this kit too.

What did the 887's do for you lift wise?

Awesome. I am trying to stay at 2.25 or below. Debating on what OME to go with.

    Morning,

I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD Long Box Double Cab 4x4. Just have a couple of quick questions.

    1. Will you have boxing day sales/ discount codes?
    2. Goal is smoother ride or same ride as stock. I want 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" lift in front. Rear suspension is staying stock. I figure 5100 set at zero with 884 OME coils or do I go 5100 with stock coil? Can you confirm? Goal here is 1-1/2" lift with same or better ride quality.
    3. Do I ned diff drop kit?
    4. To get 1-1/2" of lift in the front do I set the shock at zero?
    5. Do I need to compensate for Taco lean?

    Hi all,
Just wanted to give kudos to Marie with Headstrong Off-Road. Made an order from their website and followed up with some notes in an email. Marie happened to still be at work after hours and worked with me over email to get me squared away with what setup I really needed to accommodate my winch and bumper plans and got my order processed. Easily top customer service I've worked with.

    Thanks again Marie!

    Hey,

I have a completely stock 2014 Double Cab TRD Off Road Prerunner. I'm wanting to get a lift which would not require new UCA's.. I'm thinking that 2.5 inches is the lift that I want. Should I go with 884's or 885's or will that lift prerunnners higher than 2.5" ? Which AAL would you recommend, I would like to keep the factory slight rake or be level... definitely not nose high. Also, I drive 98% highway and I don't mind a stiffer ride but I don't want my truck to wander at 80 mph on the interstate. Can the billies/ome coils achieve what I'm looking for?

Also are there any member discounts?

    Thanks

I'm in the market as well. Have a 2008 double cab 4x4. Looking to level out don't really want to have to change the UCA's. Do you have recommendations for this type set up? Thanks!
