I used the Tacoma kit. I left off the Toyota helper spring to keep the lift to 1 1/2". I got a little more than 1.75 on the front, and 1 1/2 on the rear. the truck has a 1" rake instead of the stock 1 1/2" rake which I like. It sits about where I need it. A little more clearance for the ruts, but still easy to get in and out of. Its my daily driver. I bought it new, and for me, its an expensive vehicle. When I decided to lift it a little, I wanted to make sure that what I did didn't depreciate it. I'm pretty satisfied with the performance and look so far. I'd recommend this option if you want to stay with OEM.

Good luck with the install price. They quoted me at 8 hours of labor which I know is a crock of shit.

Do it yourself. Since the fronts come assembled it's as easy as unbolting the old and bolting in the new.

It should be no more than 5 hours including the rear springs if you go that route. Dealerships are good at taking off old parts and installing new ones, and they may be more reluctant about being creative if you decide to alter your spring pack. Good luck!! Its a great kit, easy to install, and well worth the effort and cost.

How can I convince the dealership that they are overcharging me for labor? I just can in no way see it being an eight hour job with the lifts and tools the dealership has.

Yeah we know you already stated this. Not sure how that will impact install price at the dealer I am working through.

see attached photos. It's on a slight slope so rear right of rig articulates. Measurement of hub is front. Tires are oem size 265/70 r 16s.image.jpg

Awesome, thanks dude. I am starting to think a 285 might be way stuffed on the pro suspension. Hmm
