If you sale it I’m sure some kid will buy it to make it into a café bike! A bike that nice should stay as original as possible IMHO. I remember when your 900 was the monster that I dreaded to go against with my Yam XS-650. Still wish I would of kept that bike, probably would of cafe it by now. LOL! Instead now for me its all vintage Beemers to get me all day down the road and back, go fast go long!

My first bike was a 75 KZ 400d

Bought it from the back of a guys airplane hanger with only 2k miles for a few hundred. Rebuilt it and rode it for almost 15 years.

Absolutely loved the bike and love those old Kawasaki's.

I'll sell you the brown one, $5000. Small price to pay to re-live your youth!

Some of my bikes. A 1971 CB175 Honda, 1966 CL305 Honda Scrambler and a 1966 Suzuki X6 Hustler. They were great bikes and I had them for the better part of 8-9 years each before selling them. I only have my 1967 HondaS90 and 1974 Honda XL175 currently. I had 4 at a time for about 8 years and I couldn't get my truck in the garage and the Florida sun is not kind to red. I am 64 now and the search for parts for the 60's bikes can be a challenge as well as working on them. My S90 is currently apart getting a CL175 piston that is 2mm larger and that will yield a 104cc engine so rejet it and yahoo! I've been looking at a couple of old bikes so you never can tell.....love this forum, BTW and decided to add some older bikes to the mix. Ride Safe.

OUTSTANDING restorations! I'll soon only be trailing you in age by only a couple years and I too years ago also once owed a Suzuki X6 Hustler which was a great little two stroke and its great to see one again in such fine condition as yours. Also had a Honda CA77 305 Dream which a piece of sheet metal cr*p but hey it was still fun. That was many, many, moons ago! I guess you must have a great list of salvage yards you use trying to find parts? Any ways great job on all your bikes and thanks for sharing the pics!

Hi, The X6 was all original and even had the tire pump mounted on the right side with the hose still inside! I had a friend rebuild it and replaced the 2nd gear/5th gears that were so much trouble i the 1st Gen. bikes. I sold it when I bought the Honda 305 which had been restored earlier. I put 11K on the CB175 (it too was original and not restored) and it had 21K on it and need a top end job and I ended up selling it to buy an SV650 that I just sold last year. I got parts from England, Australia and all over the US for my old bikes and as I have gotten older and retired I just don't have the energy to chase stuff down anymore. I also don't bring in as much $ as when I was working! I bought second bikes when desperate for parts. I know several guys like me that did this for 10+ years and you run down after a while! I am looking at a later model DP bike like an XT Yamaha or possibly a Suzuki TU250 as an addition to my 2 old bikes. I know where a lot of old parts are and have a good list of people to call but the newer bike will be easy to get parts for if necessary. I will still keep my S90 and XL175! Thanks for the reply. Tim in Florida

Here is a pic of my bike in Glacier national park from an 11,000 mile trip I took last summer. She is a 2002 retired police electra glide from Walpole, MA.
