It's almost a 34x10.5 but if you wanna get precise, the overall diameter should be 33.6" You can look up metric to imperial conversion calculators or to the math yourself, too.

The reason why I asked about auto or manual is, an auto tranny will likely struggle a bit figuring out shift points for that big a tire. That's the only reason I kept to a 32". If I had a manual I'd be rocking the 34" pizza cutter.

    Hey techride,
I've been considering the 255/85/16s too. These would be awesome trail tires but I'm just wondering if this tall tire is going to kill my gas mileage.

FYI I do have the 6 speed.

Also would love to see pics of this tire on a 2nd gen.
    Thoughts...

Having narrower than stock tires should help with gas mileage more than the loss of MPG from having larger diameter tires.

    **DISCLAIMER**
Do NOT try to lift under your tire like this without a front locker!!

My truck was in 4WD with the front locker engaged. Otherwise, the wheel would spind and kick that jack out with a good bit of force I would imagine...

I'm thinking about ditching the spacers. I thought I had a rub that the spacers would fix. After my alignment, I don't think I even need them... I believe this will make both of those close gaps better. I'll experiment tomorrow night.

You're less likely to rub without the spacers with the 255/85/16's

Yeah, in those two spots, I agree. I had a distinct rub line on the inside of the drivers side tire prior to the spacers though.

I changed my tie rod ends and had another alignment done . I took the spacers off after the new alignment and rotated the tires. No more rub. The alignment seems to have fixed it. Now, I'm going to ditch the spacers for good I think

Thanks man! I was going to get the Method double standard but went on Method's site and came across these! they are the method roost- love them! they also have them in like a gold/cooperish color- doest look that bad but i like the matt black with my color of taco! These wheels are quite popular on the Raptors from what I saw.

    Holy hand grenade,
    The truck looks awesome.

Was there any issues with the alignment? After I added my Bilstein 5100 and eibach lift springs I had two alignments done. Both times the machine indicated a perfect alignment. Both times the result is my front tires having a slight positive camber.

Also, have you noticed any changes to your gas miliage with the 255/85/16's?

    Thanks

How did you test / realize the camber was positive if the machine said perfect?

I think "perfect" means within factory spec, and a slight positive camber is still within that range. A lot of people will go with 3* or more of positive caster (with aftermarket UCAs) to get the tire away from the cab mount, but you will be out of spec at that point.
