    this idea could be incorporated for the tailgate too! Just run all your LEDS in the bed, and switch back near the tailgate...when you drop your tailgate, LET THERE BE LIGHT!

    Yes, you are absolutely right. I actually started lighting up the box first with a pin switch operated by the tailgate. I was tired of looking for a flashlight to find things in the box when I went camping. Check out the link two posts up.

    The button from ebay is for the glove box. For the tailgate, I piggy backed on the one for my alarm system.

    I would use a 3A fuse.
    The led's will pull less than that but 3A is usually the smallest one you can find. 15A is WAY overkill! unless you feel like wrapping your entire truck in led's :rolleyes:

    you can add a distribution block on any circuit as long as your not pulling more current than what its rated for. same concept as people doing them under the hood

    I would recommend sticking with the Add-A-Circuit tapping into the fuse panel left of the steering wheel. There are lots of wires behind the glove box you could potentially tap into, but why risk it?
