He was a BMX legend. He was my hero as a kid growing up doing BMX and downhill. He killed himself today. He was 41 and they think it was because he found out he had CTE from all his concussions

That's awesome. He owned the x-games every year. His freestyle was wild!

 

Nobody rode like him and then talked zero shit about anyone. Most guys like Daniel Dhers would shred and then talk shit about the guys he competed with. Such a humble dude.

In Columbia until Tuesday. Any suggestions for close by areas to check out Friday afternoon and this weekend? Looking for excellent school districts and nice neighborhoods for possible relocation.

Schools where I'm at aren't up to my standards for my son. He's 2 now so there's a little time before he starts. I'm already very familiar with CHS but would like to explore the upstate.

I plan on a week long excursion to Fort Mill area and a week in Greenville area in the near future. Since I'm in Columbia now, I'm open to suggestions if there are any.

 

For the best drive in burgers go to The Clock. Specifically the one at the five points interception of pleasantburg and Wade Hampton across from bob jones. You can't miss it, there's a giant blue clock in the shape of a cube out front.

 

Lexington. Nothing specific but it's in one for the better school districts. Richland district 2 use to be the one to be in.
