    887s and 5100s are fine.

    Don't preload.

With no winch, looks like you'll be just slightly heavier than me in the front. Almost 886 territory. I'm dead center between 885 and 885 weight, so 887 may be the answer.. for me anyway.

RCI skids are what's mounted on mine. But I've got them all. :) IFS, transfer, and tranny skids. Plus A arms up front. Fuel tank skid in rear and the rear dif skid. I do believe, though I never measured, the skids along the front settled things a little bit.

I was planning on more skids... but I crushed a rocker panel first... after getting that fixed, my priorities changed from more skids to sliders. Lowered the Mod budget as well. That's one of the reason's I'm keeping my 5100's and not going full OME

I know you already mentioned it but 887s are most probably going to need UCA's. They're next on my list as my alignment is in specs but too hard for local shops to do.

The 1 negative is the potential w/ 887s to need UCA's. I'm hoping that I have enough weight to bring them down enough. That's one of the reason's I was considering 885s

Yea the springs are stout and without weight on the nose of the truck it may not be enough. Heck you could end up needing UCA's with the 885s. That's just my 2 cents though. Some people have better experiences than others.

Honestly, If I had the funds I'd include UCA's in my plan just in case I needed them, but I'm trying to avoid buying them If I can get a way with it.

Where can you find the trim packer if you aren't getting the whole OME kit?

Thanks, I was just looking there. I guess it's really just a 1/4in top plate spacer?

Essentially. The driver side of these trucks apparently is heavier than the passenger side.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Decision completed:
887's with my existing 5100's (set to 0)
    1.5 aal
1/4 top plate space for drivers side

Total=252.20 from wheelers. Not bad! just hope it aligns w/o needing UCA's.

Get the Wheelers HD leaf pack instead of the AAL

That's a big price jump. The AAL is so inexpensive, if I end up hating it, won't be a big deal to swap out later on. UCA's will be next though, if needed.
