    Yup... I've been able to use spring nuts but they are not as easy as it could be with something made the correct size.

    Ok @thefatkid just to make sure I don't open a can of worms. When I do the SAS will still be able to put the truck in four wheel drive by the t case. The actuator in the diff is only to lock the hubs right? Or is the diff the point that connects and disconnects the 4x4

    your diff will be in the solid axle and won't have an actuator :confused:

    tcase will engage front drive shaft. locking hubs

    There is an actuator in the diff and I'm just double checking as to what it does and making sure that I don't have to do an FJ t case in order to have 4wheel drive. I will do a FJ box down the road but I can't do it now unless I have to.

    You will need to trick the 4wd computer to seeing a signal similar to the front diff actuator.................. Or just swap in an FJ or newer 4runner case. I want a case out of a trail 4runner.

    So as long as I hide the actuator in the truck I should be fine for now. Unless you convince the next runner that you work on that their t case is broken......

    So I'll say no. It's going to be a battery cage for the dual battery's. I would show you a picture of it dimpled and all bent up but @Ag63i2 had to come and distract me so I have no pictrures right now.
