I like IBS it has a pretty picture on the box and I really like pretty pictures on things I buy.

They both look good but IBS looks like it specs out a little better and I like the box.

All and all I like to see my bank account with money in it but after meeting @ramonortiz55 it hasn't been a pretty picture. So it all comes down to the price:thumbsup:

I can't read IBS without thinking of being stuck in public and having to take a shit. :anonymous:

It is, however, the set up I would choose.

Does National Luna or IBS make anything like the CTEK d250s dual (DC-DC charger and solar regulator) for auxilliary battery systems or do they only cater to dual battery setups?

I can't speak from experience with either one but looking at some of the specs, they seem to be lacking in some areas. They both seem to focus a lot on the visual aspects with their battery monitor readouts. I'm not sure how important that is to me.

I am curious about what gauge wire comes with the IBS kit? I couldn't find that detail on the page that was linked. Does anybody know? It did say it came with enough wire for an 18' run (12 meters total) which is enough to easily reach the bed on a 1st gen. But the gauge is important too. Potentially as much as +200 amps may be used in a self jump situation.

The National Luna link did specify the wire size at 16mm2 which is ~5 gauge. A little light considering 4 gauge maxes out at 6' for the 200 amp loads.

IMO, neither of those kits are ideal for the coin they ask for.

Good point. When looking at them wire size was not huge a decision factor for me because i planned on having to buy new wire for my specific length, needs, ect. But i am with you when i say i think they are both over priced for what they are. When it comes to electrical anything however i am more than willing to pay a little extra to know that i have a good product thats not going to cause a fire or anything like that. If someone is that worried about price they can piece a kit together themselves for under $150 off of Amazon (less wire, connections ect).
