    They didn't. FWIW the longbed is the standard bed.

    then how come when you look on the website when you try building your own 4 the 2010's it wont allow you to have a standard bed it tells you to change it to a short bed

    I think a longbed d-cab / 4 cyl would be a bit underpowered. Since you want the longbed I'm assuming you're going to carry cargo in the back.

    I don't think it should be called a long bed to begin with. It's only 6 feet. :)
