My kids can hopefully get to do some real sledding out back this winter!

Just picked up a 17" steelie from a friend. Had it on his Tahoe and ditched it for some aftermarket wheels. Woot woot, second spare!

Sure it will fit? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but Chevy hubs are smaller than ours.

Between having a spouse who's done 30 years in the field (running group homes), knowing many people with different issues, and having a family member who I've not seen in 30 yrs with special needs it is very close to me

Looks like the North Shore will pick up a good amount. Kids already out of school, for professional day for teachers. At least they'll be out of the house playing in the snow.

Should be fun tomorrow, I'm using my sister in laws Hyundai Elantra since she lives in Cambridge and doesn't need it. Good timing by me to break my truck, snowstorm tomorrow means I'll probably be working in the snow this weekend in my driveway.

I was hoping to make it one winter without using the snowblower...looks like we're due for 5-7" of very heavy stuff...so I got it running tonight just in case...and just for kicks I fired up the lawnmower (There was still a little gas in it) and mowed a strip just to say I've mowed my lawn in February in Massachusetts :)

3-6" for me down here. Started accumulating about 5:00am. I think the weatherman was going to jizz on air during last nights news cast as he was so excited just to say the "s" word!

Same here since I'm not too far down the road from you. Started at about 5. Wife already got the call the schools are closed since she's a teacher. A bunch of them are actually. Waiting to see if little man's daycare is open or closed as well. And then my job as well. Hoping it is! Have a laptop so I can work from home, which I wouldn't mind at all. ;)

If it's a GM wheel it won't fit. Like Jason said the center bore it too small. Toyota wheels will fit on GM's but the GM's will not fit on the Toyota's

Morning everyone. No School today for my little people

Morning all. Yeah Easton cancelled school also. I think it is bullshit that they cancel based on a prediction

    :goingcrazy:

All it takes is one lawsuit because they didn't cancel school based on a prediction and a school bus slides off the road. No one can afford to have a set of balls anymore because it'll just get them fired or in a lawsuit.

X2, we've got a classic New Englander for a superintendent who's from vermont. In talking with him on the subject of school closings, ideally he'd like to make his own call, but many of the decisions are made in conjunction with other towns and districts. Another deciding factor is the bus companies and how many towns they service and share. He always says if it were truly up to him we'd have a lot less snow days.

The drive from Hopkinton to North Attleboro sucked balls in the Hyundai I'm driving. All season tires suck sooo bad in the snow. I had to leave like 3 football fields of space between me and any one in front of me because the car just doesn't stop.

He'll of a time to bust your 4wd vehicle
