i dont have any pics of an alignment sheet. my camber is the only thing effected and its good where its at.

also my stock control arms are in brand new condition. if they ware out slightly quicker then i'll replace them.

    Smaller Wheel = More Rubber

A taller tire (i.e. more rubber/height profile) provides a larger ground patch contact area. Taller > Wide for 'most' off-road purposes (except sand).

The bigger your wheel is the lower your height profile (think sidewall) on the tire itself will be. So, when you air down for off-road purposes you'll have more ground contact with a taller profile. Therefore, based on this argument, some will say that 16" is the best size for off-road wheels (compared to 17+).

Ultimately it's all about what you actually intend to use all this lift and tires for.

You can do a 33" tire with a 3" lift.
    255/85/16 = 33" (Tall skinny)
    285/75/16 = 33" (Wide - Requires Cab Mount Chop)

Thanks for the info, I'm considering the full ome kit plus some ucas. Just wondering why someone would choose 885s with 1/2" spacers vs 887s? My guess was they buy 885s and wanted more lift? thanks again I'm new!

885's and 887's are the same spring rate but the 887's are a 1/2" taller making it unnecessary for the spacer to achieve 3" up front.

When I was shopping, the 887's weren't popular or heard of since they are springs for the 4Runner; yet they work just fine with the Tacoma and people are very happy. My brother has them on his '15 and our truck ride exactly the same. When I add more weight up front (bumper and winch) I will be swapping in 886's which are rated higher.

You said "I'd suggest if you're going with ome coils go with ome shocks as well."

Now I could have read into this too much and if I did ignore my response, I apologize.
From that one sentence it sounded as if someone was deciding between 5100 and OME struts to pair with OME coils in which case you said what you said. I was simply supporting the used of both since personally the matching brand part doesn't matter, at least in this case. If it were me I'd go with the Bilsteins because they are cheaper, the internal design performs better, they resist from rusting unlike the OME struts (pretty common after the yellow paint flakes off), and IMO they look better. Oh and the 5100 have a slightly longer extended length too if I remember correctly and also don't make that annoying "clank" sound when fully extended. About the only thing I like about the OMEs is they use a bigger shaft diameter, but than again I have never heard of a shaft failure on the 5100s and a bigger shaft means less oil and less oil means more prone to shock fade (also the aluminum vs steal body plays a role in this).

887 are 5mm taller, it just the minimal added preload that equates to a difference of 1/2" lift over the 885.

The price is the same with either shock, OME or blisteins, as per Marie from that web site.

Interesting..is that with the whole kit? The OME shocks are a little over $200 more for the set according to Wheeler's..

I allows for the flux compactor to clear a warning light sent by the anodizing lazer to allow more clearance on off-road terrain

The flux capacitor on my truck isn't working, think it's a fuse.

If you turn the blown fuse around it will regenerate itself due to the current and the fc will be back to working just fine
