Truck Shaking from 60-70. Replaced a ton of parts. Help Please!

    That would be my guess you could rebalance a tire over and over again if it has excessive road force. You could balance all out and 5min later it's all fucked up again

    have you checked the driveshaft yet? or the u joints or driveline bearings for play or out of balance?

    I replaced the u joints in the rear drive shaft, the front looked/felt really good. replaced the Carrier bearing too.
    Going to install some borrowed wheels and tires tomorrow before I take the drive line to possibly get balanced.

    in post #3 is it just me or is the ubolts on the axle bent backwards?or not straight up and down or is that how the cantilever system is? or is it just the angle of the picture?

    Bilsteins 5100 set at .085 Rear custom 1" add a leaf 265/70 R17 tires. Custom made aluminum tonneau cover with bike rack. 4x4 conversion with 4Runner transfer case.
    Cross tight your wheel nuts. Some time it happens that your wheels don't get well centered if you don't cross tight nuts. Just my 5 cents.

    Yea they're angled backwards. Axle is supposed to be set at some angle for Spring Under Axle.
    LSK did the design and fabrication of the cantilever so I trust it. Smart group of guys over there

    Well, Chris, the first thing that came to mind was if the dif was angled perfectly how its supposed to be. If its off to much you'll have crazy vibes. I know NFS Chris had issues with American Motorsports when they set up his SUA and had his axle angle off a bit, he drove off and had immediate vibes. I'm no expert on the matter so I don't know how much of an angle difference would cause vibes, but maybe take a quick measurment on your dif and make sure its where it needs to be

    Buddy had a "dynamically balanced" driveshaft made at an offroad shop. He started having severe shakes and ended up replacing a lot of parts to track it down, only to find out the custom driveshaft was as balanced as my drunk uncle. Replaced it and shakes went away.

    Yea Jordan ran this on his old truck. Same axle and angle and had no problems with it. But doesn't hurt to double check. Thanks!

    Factory rims it came with.

    Yea I've read stories about drive shaft shops doing that. Going to rule out a few things before I shell out 300 bucks to get the driveshafts balanced

    It's the same exact axle Jordan ran. The one that was used for mock up by LSK. Jordan upgraded his truck to a tundra axle.
