For those that have derped the tail gate - how does it hold up against crappy winter road film (salt, de icer, gravel )? How many coats for durable finish? Thinking 4-5? Maybe finish with the clear derp. ...

Most posts I've seen look like they're done in mild climates.

    Yup. @Jystr
Keep us posted on how they hold up to the elements. My Billys rusted up on me within a few months. Eventually blew out at the seals.

Where did you get that rack setup?
It is exactly what I am looking for
I can see the brand but is that a direct fit or
something custom to span across the bed?

Handy but hopefully you don't have a bad back and adjust your lumbar support very often, you'll end up with bloody knuckles. Of course, the chicks might dig it, thinking you are a macho dude, so it's all good.

Was waiting for a local dent removal guy to arrive at my house last night but he never came. I was irritated and called him. He explained he unexpectedly had his divorce papers served as the reason he couldnt make it. All of a sudden, my dent didnt even matter. Definitely put things in perspective for me haha. Painted my exhaust tip and v6 emblem satin black while i was waiting for him to show up.
