danOmite, Before you decide on anywhere to move, be sure to look at the Pawleys Island/Murrells Inlet area. It's a great place to live. Traffic is minimal(unless you turn north towards Myrtle), nice and quiet, beach to the east, river to the west, and almost anything you want to do is within 20 minutes.
There is NO WAY...I repeat...NO WAY that I would ever live in Charleston, just because of the traffic. If I had to get in that mess every day, I would go insane...or maybe end up in prison for killing somebody.

Truth! My wife use to be all about Charleston until I took her to Pawley's Island a couple of years ago. She instantly fell in love with that area, especially Murrell's Inlet and the marsh walk. We're a little bummed they don't do the Monday night fireworks anymore though.

 

Neither is common sense, it's practically a super power.

 

after living in that area for a few years myself, I couldn't agree more. that place is heaven on earth. just don't go north! Murrells inlet FTW! its beautiful at the worst of times.

I can't agree more I hate just driving through. My sis used to be in downtown because she was going to MUSC so I would go visit like once a month and I would dread driving my tundra though those small ass streets.

 

im just glad I have a back up camera. ive gotten damn good at parallel parking downtown.

 

Yeah backup cameras are amazing.lol It sucks driving a vehicle without one now that I'm used to it.

 

Haha good plan! Now that I have armor on the taco I can just not give a fuck and side swipe some cars and just shrug it off.lol

 

They have a Bluetooth back up camera that will work on my iPad I want badly. Put one up front and one in the back.

oh yes. my dog seems to always "get away" from me there. shes very friendly and seems to really like the cute ones... or maybe we just have hand signals. who knows.

 

I know right? its like they physically cant stop themselves from swooning. now throw a cute trick on top of it, and boom, you could drown in them panties.

Will do! The ARB delivery was supposed to be today but since I'm up in Columbia until Tuesday, I had them hold it for pick up (and it's ready). I'm still waiting on those damn UCA's though.

We've always driven straight past on our way to MB when we first moved here... Have to make a road trip up that way soon!
