If you live in MA and have successfully wired your tailgate to work with your power doors, please let me know if you can do the same for me. I will buy all the parts, come to you and pay for your time or buy beer and pizza, whatever works best for you.
I am not going to be attempting this project on my own, so please don't respond with comments about how easy this is and how I should be able to do it myself.

If you can help, please respond here or PM me.

    Thanks.

I did it to my 16, I used the kit, it was super simple, I'm about an hour away.

OP sorry you are not in DFW Texas. I have a shop, and I would have been glad to help.

Thanks Jay. Please let me know what to buy and where and which weekend in March would work best for you. Sundays are best for me 3/5-4/10 (taking an all day brokers class on Saturdays)

This kit says its for the Tundra but it works for the 2016 tacoma as well. http://www.amazon.com/Pop-Lock-PL85...ie=UTF8&qid=1454732074&sr=8-1&keywords=PL8535

Any sunday is good for me. We will most likely go to Oxford where I have access to a heated garage.
