Unbolt the 3 on the frame & cut the hook off

 

ok now take those 3 off on both sides and save those 6 nuts cuz you'll need them to put the bumper back on with

I used to own a "74" Mercury cougar XR-7. It had a 351M400 motor and a hood 12 ft long.
My buddy and I were looking at the engine one day and decided to hacksaw everything in
the engine compartment that didnt look like it belonged. Fck it, cut it off.

 

While you got all that off, hit those 2 aluminum strips on the sides of the radiator with black spray paint. It makes them not noticeable behind the grill and looks much nicer.

 

Got these in today

 

How do I get rid of this?

 

sharp knife or razor blade. just cut it off.
