What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I was just messing around man haha, I'd have them ruined so fast with all the mud I get on them. If the deal even goes through I'll be really surprised

 

Mud don't hurt them

 

ehh, I had mud stain mine. had to sand them down and re-clear

 

Wash them instead of letting mud sit on them

 

Oh I do believe me. I wash it at least once a week, but my lenses still get destroyed in a year or 2. Salt spray and mud reek havok on just about everything

 

Damn, once a week? I haven't washed mine, like actually (sometimes I spray the frame clean) for at least 3 or 4 months. It gets gross the second it roll out of the car wash this season.

 

yea , that was my problem...I let the mud sit to long. ooops

 

In winter usually twice a week. Cars just disintegrate if you don't around here. Washed it Tuesday and just did again today. Little overkill I guess but I like having it not covered in salt

 

I own my truck for a little over a year and half and its prob only been washed 2-3 times. But then I don't have to worry about road salt like some of you.

Well, the coilovers have a tracking number now. Strangely it says it weighs 11.2 lbs so who knows what I might get haha.

 

How would they be different than any other headlight? Their sealed..

 

The outside of the lens gets wrecked is what I mean. My current headlights are maybe 2 years old from what the PO told me and they're trashed. Then again he also said he changed the plugs, and when I pulled them they were definitely original. So who knows. I've tried polishing them but it really didn't do much.
