    HELLO

My name is Shawn Hamilton. I live in Pahrump, Nevada. I work in Law Enforcement.
I am the Nevada distributor and national sales rep for Killerwaxx. I have always wanted a 4x4 Tacoma and I finally purchased a used 2007 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. My plans where to build the Tacoma so I could join with local off road clubs and explore the country side and join expedition events. Another reason behind the build was to get my kids unplugged and teach, bond and build memories, so one day they could do the same with there children.

For the past 4 years come SEMA time. I have had the opportunity to detail some of the top truck builds that you see on the magazine stands. I meet a lot of great people and have built relationships with many vehicle part manufacturing companies. So here I am thinking. "I think its my time to build a SEMA build of my own." I had the perfect truck. why not? I can help companies out for years advertising via sponsorship programs, build a awesome off road Tacoma, view our countries land scape and teach, bond and build memories with my 3 boys. So here we go....Welcome to SEMA 2016
    build PROJECT DOOMSDAY.

So your building a sema truck? I noticed you have AP as one of the sponsor names under your profile pic but you have a CBI moab front bumper on the truck

    Yes SEMA 2016.

Most companies require you now to have a digital rendering when you submit a proposal. These renderings are a concept only. Renderings are finalized at a later point with minimal changes. I had spoke with AP in the very beginning. I was advised that I would be sponsored for the Hi-Lift off road jack mount. It was stated that when the owner returned from a off road expo event that we could discuss any further sponsorship opportunities. I sent multiple updates on project doomsday, with no reply. If nothing comes of it and I'm not chosen to represent AP. The logo will be removed in the finial rendering. I have sponsored about 100+ builds myself, over the past 5 years. There are many contributing factors when selecting individuals to represent your company and its products.

It will not be a mall crawler lol, I promise. One of the reasons I didn't want to worry about a clear coat finish was the fact that I would be scraping branches etc. I needed a tough finish which is why I went with Raptor Bedliners.

Brady from SBC Racks will also be building a matching bug out off road trailer. We are working out the details of the trailer build day by day. Unfortunately it will not be at SEMA this year but we hope to return the fallowing year SEMA 2017 with Project Doomsday and trailer. Mean while we will build the trailer and use it when off roading, expedition trips etc and release pictures and video for advertisements for his trailer builds.

Cool truck ! Just a heads up - your rendering shows fiberglass bedsides with a camper shell and that is not going to happen. All of the fiberglass bedsides flare out I.E: if you are looking down from the sky at the top rails of the bed the fiberglass bedsides flare out they do not match the straighter OE top bed railcap shape....All of the camper shells are made to over lap the OE bed rail caps so the only way to put a camper shell on top of fiberglass fenders would be to custom modify the entire bottom edge of your camper shell so that it could just sit on top the bed sides....IE grind / cut off that entire bottom lip of the shell but even if you do that you are still left with flared bedsides and a camper sitting on top of those bedsides that does not match the curvature/ flare of the bedsides. If you do somehow manage to get a shell on top of bedsides you also need to build a tube support structure under the bed sides to support the weight of the shell or it will annihilate the fiberglass bed sides....especially when the roof rack is loaded too.

This is the exact paint job I want. You have any idea what all pricing looks like on a Tacoma? Even the color is perfect.
