    I need to make sure the bed bar mounts aren't in the way if I decide to go that route though. I had Andrew fab the Hi Lift mounts to the bar as well so I have options. I like options. Haha.

    Nice! Mounted to the bars is always awesome. Mine are super low pro so I didnt have room. Instead.. I made some mounts and have mine mounted up against the cab using the rails.

    They tend to loosen up some. But havent lost one yet or loosened up enough for it to move or fall. I just hand tighten em from time to time as I walk by.

    I have used a small rubber bushing in the past on each side of a high lift and shovel, to sort of "spring" load the wing nuts and keep them from loosening up

    don't own one, but borrowed and brought along on several occasions. haven't used one yet, a good tow strap will be used more than anything. though in the need that you puncture a sidewall and need to change a tire, i could imagine that they are much more useful than the bottle jack you get with the truck. especially me being between mid/ long travel, broke a front shock on the trail last year, the bottle jack couldn't even get my front tire in the air in the barstow parking lot. luckily got it high enough that i realized the shock wasn't going to come apart and just had to take it easy the last 120 miles of pavement
