Are the tires 265/75/16? Looks good!

Only had her for a couple hours but doesn't seem much of a difference from when I took a test drive with the Wranglers on.

 

That's good to hear. I think that's the tire I'll go with whenever I lift it. Only going to lift like 2".

 

Factory flaps?

 

So far the only mods are rear seats/rear head rests removed and added a 2nd battery. Will be putting mudguards on this weekend.

 

Do you have a picture of the rear seat delete?

Also just curious what the second battery is for.

 

+1 on the head rest delete.

 

No problem, here ya go, remove the rear panels to get to the 4 bolts to remove the head rests, the rear fold down seats can be removed without removing the panels, if you remove the rear panels go ahead and remove the metal child restraint brackets at the bottom of the rear panels on each side

Many people put a 2nd battery in for their stereo, winch, lights or any other other extra electronics.

 

That looks pretty damn good. Another option for sure.

 

Do you have more information about that 2nd battery? How did you install it? What parts did you get? Links to where others can get them and do the same thing? Its pretty cool!

TRD OR 4x4 AC V6 with Tech & Tow Package

Major reasons for model choice were the desire for a 6' bed and the lack of a need for the crew cab. My last three trucks were all crew cabs and were rarely ever used.

I like the "wheel to wheel" concept in steps or bars. What kind are these? By chance do you know of other brands or models that are long enough to do that as well?

Admittedly, I could use the boost to reach in the bed; it might save wear and tear on the front seat covers and cushions too. Thanks, Mick

 

They are nfab 3 step bars. I love the step to get into the bed or strap something down. I got them off www.runningboardwarehouse.com

 

Thanks for the inspiration. Did the rear seat delete today. I left the child restraint brackets for tie downs. Do you know if they make a solid panel. I know you can order the truck with a rear seat delete and they must put a different panel in its place. My dealership had no clue what I was talking about.

 

Sorry, but I am going to hold onto the parts just to have them for future if I ever need them
